Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on State Route 74 in Temecula Identified

Temecula, California: The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident Thursday on State Route 74 in Temecula.

44-year-old Jason Frost of Lake Elsinore died at the scene of the crash that happened just after 9 p.m. on westbound SR-74 at Betty Road.

Frost was riding a motorcycle when a 2019 Toyota Highlander driven by a 52-year-old Hesperia woman pulled onto the highway from Betty Road, directly into the path of Frost.

The motorcycle crashed into the front side of the car, ejecting the rider onto the roadway.

Riverside County Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Frost dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver and her passenger, a 53-year-old Hesperia man, were treated for unspecified injuries at the scene.

The highway was closed in both directions for several hours following the collision.
