Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Phoenix Identified
Phoenix, Arizona: 52-year-old Amer Ibrahim died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday night at an intersection in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened around 9:15 p.m. near Bethany Home Road and 19th Avenue.
Authorities said a car was traveling on Bethany Home Road when it collided with a second vehicle that had made a westbound turn onto Bethany Home Road from 19th Avenue. Both cars lost control after the impact and ended up in oncoming traffic, where a second collision occurred involving a third vehicle going eastbound on Bethany Home Road.
Ibrahim was driving the third car and died in the crash.
Two other people sustained unspecified injuries.
Investigators said speed is a possible factor contributing to the crash.
