Man Killed in Palm Desert Big Rig Accident on Hwy 74 Identified
Palm Desert, California: 27-year-old Tristin Samuel Bourgeois was killed in a big rig collision that happened Thursday morning in Palm Desert, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.
The crash took place around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 74 near Palowet Drive.
Investigators said a big rig was heading south when it lost control and overturned, crashing into a Chevrolet Silverado occupied by Bourgeois going the opposite direction.
Bourgeois, a resident of La Quinta, was pronounced dead at the scene.
All lanes of Highway 74 were closed from Palowet Drive to State Route 371 until around 1:45 p.m.
