Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Rancho Cucamonga
Rancho Cucamonga, California: A 67-year-old man died after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday night at an intersection in Rancho Cucamonga.
Authorities said the accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. at Base Line Road and Klusman Avenue.
Investigators said the Rancho Cucamonga man was walking northbound near the intersection when the driver of a gray Toyota Rav4 traveling eastbound in the No. 1 lane of Base Line Road hit the pedestrian.
The man was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
