Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore
Lake Elsinore, California: 39-year-old Justin Allen of Lake Elsinore died after being hit by a car Saturday night in Lake Elsinore, authorities said.
The accident happened around 11:59 p.m. on Mission Trail, 500 feet south of Hidden Trail.
Responding deputies and Cal Fire personnel found the man lying in the roadway.
Allen was pronounced dead at the scene after failed life-saving measures.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not considered contributing factors.
