Man Killed in Red Bluff Crash on Highway 99 near Palm Street
Red Bluff, CA – A man was killed in a head-on collision that happened on Friday morning in Red Bluff.
The accident happened on Highway 99 near Palm Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 35-year-old Redding man was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Highway 99 when he drifted into the southbound lanes and collided with an oncoming 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Kirk Brown, 54, of Redding.
The Nissan driver was airlifted to Enloe Hospital where he later died.
Brown suffered major injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
The Red Bluff CHP Office is investigating the crash.
