Man Killed in Stockton Crash at Bowman and Manthey Roads
Stockton, California – A man was killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Stockton on Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident was reported at around 12 p.m. at Bowman and Manthey roads.
The man was driving a Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed and was trying to pass a black Mazda 3 that was traveling ahead when he crashed into an oncoming car.
The 31-year-old Stockton man was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
The accident remains under investigation.
