Man Killed in Suspected DUI Collision on Glenoaks Boulevard in Glendale
Glendale, California: A man died, and two others were injured in a head-on collision that happened Monday evening in Glendale, police said.
The wreck was reported around 8:24 p.m. on Glenoaks Boulevard at Elm Avenue.
Authorities said the accident happened when a 23-year-old driver of a black BMW traveling westbound lost control of the car and ended up in the eastbound lane.
The BMW crashed head-on with a silver Honda.
A passenger in the Honda, only identified as a man in his 70s, died in the crash.
The Honda driver, also a man in his 70s, sustained a broken leg and pelvis.
The BMW driver was hospitalized with unknown injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
An investigation is ongoing.
