Man Killed in Tucson Car Crash on Broadway Blvd and Old Spanish Trl
Tucson, Arizona: 77-year-old Dennis Morford died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night at an intersection in Tucson.
According to police, the crash happened at East Broadway Boulevard and East Old Spanish Trail.
Morford was driving a Chevrolet Corvette north on Old Spanish trail when he tried to make a left turn onto Broadway and collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan going east on Broadway.
Moford was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Three occupants in the Tiguan were treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Tiguan was not intoxicated.
Police said Morford’s failure to yield at a stop sign contributed to the crash.
