Man Killed in West Sacramento Crash Identified
West Sacramento, California: 43-year-old Willie James Vernon Jr. was the driver who died in a collision that happened Monday night in West Sacramento, the Yolo County Coroner’s Office said.
The Sacramento man was involved in the collision at around 9:30 p.m. on West Capitol Avenue near Westacre Road.
Two cars were involved in the collision. Vernon’s vehicle ended up wrapped around a tree.
Vernon died in the collision.
Two other people were hospitalized in critical condition.
The accident is under investigation by the West Sacramento Police Department.
