Man Killed, Woman Injured in Campbell Crash
Campbell, California: A man died, and a woman was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Campbell.
37-year-old Fabian Andres Colorado was arrested following the collision.
According to the Campbell Police Department, the collision occurred around 12:52 p.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Avenue.
Investigators said Colorado was traveling northbound on San Tomas Expressway at a high rate of speed when he tried to turn right onto Campbell Avenue and lost control of the car, hitting the center median.
His vehicle also struck three other cars and came to rest in the opposite lanes of traffic.
A man driving one of the cars died in the accident.
A woman in the passenger’s seat was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The other parties involved were not seriously hurt.
Police officers arrested Colorado after the crash.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Kenneth Joseph McLeod Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident
Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
