Man Run Over, Killed by Semi-Truck in Salinas
Salinas, California: A man died after he was struck by a semi-truck Friday afternoon at a workplace in Salinas.
Salinas police said the accident was reported around 4:04 p.m. at the BC Systems in the 1341 block of Merrill Street.
The incident occurred on the loading blocks when a semi-truck that was pulling out ran over a man.
The man died at the scene.
Authorities were told that the victim was not an employee of BC Systems company.
The driver of the semi-truck stopped and cooperated with investigators.
