Manny Camacho Killed in Chatsworth Crash on 118 Freeway near Topanga Canyon Road
Los Angeles, California – Manny Camacho, 23, has been identified as the man who died after being hit by a piece of wood that fell off the truck in front of him and through his windshield in Chatsworth on Monday.
The accident happened on the 118 Freeway just before the Topanga Canyon off-ramp at around 8:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities say a lumber truck, Penske rental truck, and SUV were involved in the collision.
Camacho was inside the Penske truck and was struck by lumber from the back of another moving truck.
Camacho was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
