Marcela Aguilar Killed in Car Crash on La Brucherie Road near Wahl Road
El Centro, California – The California Highway Patrol has identified Marcela Suarez Aguilar, 55, of El Centro, as the woman killed in a deadly collision on Wednesday morning in El Centro.
The accident happened at the La Brucherie Road near Wahl Road intersection at about 9:15 a.m. on August 8.
According to a CHP report, Aguilar was traveling on La Brucherie Road when she crashed into a truck tractor operated by a 62-year-old Brawley man at the junction.
Aguilar sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Desert Regional Hospital where she died.
The condition of the truck driver was not immediately released.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
