Marcos Amaral Killed in Orinda Motorcycle Accident on Highway 24
Orinda, California – Marcos Amaral, 30, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision that occurred on Saturday morning in Orinda.
The motorcycle accident happened on Highway 24 near Saint Stephens Drive at around 12:05 a.m.
Amaral was riding a motorcycle westbound when he collided with a BMW SUV, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Amaral sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BMW driver was determined to have been driving in under the influence and was arrested.
