Martin Mendoza Killed in Skateboard Accident at Highway 43 and Conejo Ave in Fresno
Fresno, California – A skateboarder died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Fresno.
The accident happened in the area of Highway 43 and Conejo Avenue at around 7:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Martin Garcia Mendoza, 22, was riding a skateboard when he entered the intersection and was struck by a Dodge traveling southbound.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
