Mary Love Killed in Garlock Car Crash on Redrock Ransburg Road
Bakersfield, California – 50-year-old Mary Leechelle Love, of Ridgecrest, has been identified by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as the woman who died in a car crash near Garlock on Monday morning.
The fatal collision happened on Redrock Ransburg Road near Garlock Road at around 8:35 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Mercedes was traveling westbound on Redrock Randsburg Road when it collided head-on with an eastbound Hyundai operated by Mary Love.
Love succumbed to her injuries at the accident scene.
A passenger in the Hyundai and the driver of the Mercedes sustained major injuries and were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
