Burlington, Wash. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon in Burlington.
The collision occurred at the intersection of State Route 20 and Pulver Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
43-year-old Matthew McMullen, a resident of Mount Vernon, was riding a motorcycle southbound on Pulver Road when he was struck by a car turning left onto State Route 20.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver and a passenger of the car were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
