Maximillian Herr Killed in Imperial Beach Motorcycle Accident at Donax Avenue and 13th Street
Imperial Beach, California – Maximillian “Max” Herr, 24, has been identified as the sailor who died in a motorcycle accident in Imperial Beach on Thursday morning.
The fatal motorcycle accident was reported around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Donax Avenue and 13th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Maximillian was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck.
The rider was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The truck driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
