Megan Sanders Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Rosedale Highway
Bakersfield, California – Megan Lee Sanders, 42, of Bakersfield, has been identified as the woman who died after being hit by a car in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian accident happened on Rosedale Highway around 6 a.m.., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sanders was walking north on the eastbound lanes of the highway and was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by a Bakersfield man.
Sanders was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
