62-Year-Old Motorcyclist Severely Hurt in Sonora Accident on West Stockton Street near Ponderosa Way
Michael Diffenderfer Injured in Motorcycle Crash on West Stockton Street in Sonora
Sonora, California: 62-year-old Michael Diffenderfer, of Jamestown, was airlifted to the hospital after a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan that happened Monday afternoon in Sonora.
The incident took place around 3:40 p.m. on West Stockton Street near Ponderosa Way.
Police said Diffenderfer was riding a motorcycle when a sedan driven by 26-year-old Rhinemarc Diasen from Sonora hit his bike either from the back or side.
The motorcyclist went down onto the ground after the impact.
Firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to respond and airlift the rider to a Valley trauma center. The victim sustained major injuries.
