61-Year-Old Michael Fetch Dies in Highway 20 Truck Crash in Benton County
Michael Fetch Victim of Deadly Truck Accident near Blodgett
Benton County, Oregon: Authorities have identified the man who died in a collision between a pickup truck and a log truck Wednesday afternoon near Blodgett as Michael Ronald Fetch, 61, from Hubbard.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said the wreck was reported around 3:40 p.m. on Highway 120 at Highway 180.
Investigators determined that Fetch was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck when he stopped on Highway 180, waiting to turn east on Highway 20.
Fetch then pulled out in front of a westbound log truck and got hit.
First responders pronounced the pickup driver dead at the scene.
The log truck driver was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis for treatment of minor injuries.
