Miranda Wheeler Killed in Pomona Pedestrian Accident at Mission Blvd. and South Reservoir St.
Pomona, California – Miranda Wheeler, 40, has been identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office as the woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday night in Pomona.
The fatal collision happened around 10:09 p.m. at East Mission Boulevard and South Reservoir Street, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Wheeler was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
