Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash on Sheep Creek Road in Phelan
Phelan, California: A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon in Phelan, authorities said.
The incident was reported at about 4:56 p.m. on Sheep Creek Road near Rancho Road.
San Bernardino County firefighters responded and found a 2002 GMC Yukon and a black motorcycle involved in the accident.
The firefighters requested a helicopter to land at the Stater Bros shopping center to airlift the rider.
The victim was taken by ground ambulance to the landing zone and airlifted via Mercy Air 22 helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The rider remained in an unknown condition.
CHP – Victorville Station is investigating the collision.
