Motorcyclist Dies, Driver Suffers Serious Injuries in Late Night Crash in Portland
Portland, Oregon: A motorcyclist died, and a driver was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Wednesday night at an intersection in southeast Portland.
Portland police said the wreck was reported around 11:16 p.m. at Southeast Flavel Street and Southeast 112th Avenue.
A motorcycle and a car collided for an unknown reason.
First responders found the rider dead.
The driver of the car was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators closed SE Flavel Street between SE 109th Avenue and SE 118th Drive, and SE 112th Avenue between SE Knapp Street and SE Malden Street as they worked the scene.
