Motorcyclist Dies in Hospital after 5 Freeway Crash in Chula Vista
Chula Vista, California – A motorcyclist died after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday night in Chula Vista.
The motorcycle accident was reported at around 9:34 p.m. on the southbound San Diego (5) Freeway at the L Street overpass where it joins Bay Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist collided with several vehicles on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified rider was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center where he later died.
More details about the crash were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
