Rider Dies in Long Beach Motorcycle-Train Crash Wednesday Afternoon
Long Beach, California: A motorcyclist died after colliding with a Metro train Wednesday afternoon in Long Beach.
The Long Beach Fire Department said the accident happened around 5:50 p.m.
A motorcycle collided with a Metro train under unclear circumstances. The motorcycle was left wedged underneath the front of the train.
Responding emergency personnel pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
