Motorcyclist Fatally Hit by Multiple Vehicles on Highway 1 in Orcutt
Orcutt, California: A motorcyclist died after he was hit by multiple vehicles Wednesday night on Highway 1 in Orcutt, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department said.
The incident took place around 9:25 p.m. on Highway 1 near Highway 135.
Authorities said a motorcyclist was struck by several vehicles under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel found the rider down on the roadway in the left-hand lane.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators closed the highway during the investigation.
