Santa Cruz, California – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a car accident that happened on Saturday afternoon in Santa Cruz.
The accident happened on the northbound State Route 9 at Saratoga Toll Road Trail at around 12:02 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle is reported to have collided with another vehicle on the road in unclear circumstances.
The rider was ejected from the bike and was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
