Motorcyclist Hospitalized After San Pasqual Accident

San Diego, California: A motorcyclist suffered severe injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car Tuesday afternoon in San Pasqual, police said.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. at 13900 San Pasqual Road.

Authorities said a 26-year-old man was riding his BMW S1000 motorcycle northbound when, for an unknown reason, veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a Toyota RAV4 driven by a 46-year-old man.

The motorcycle and the car collided, ejecting the rider.

Emergency personnel transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital with injuries to the left leg and internal organs. The wounds were considered life-threatening.

The crash is under investigation by the San Diego Police Department Traffic Division.
