Motorcyclist Injured After Colliding with Car on I-15 in Hesperia
Hesperia, California: A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after colliding with another vehicle Friday morning on Interstate 15 near Hesperia, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported around 6:49 a.m. in the southbound lanes just north of Oak Hill Road.
A motorcyclist collided with a black Chevy Volt under unclear circumstances.
The rider was lying down in traffic lanes after the collision.
Good Samaritans covered the victim with a blanket to help him keep warm before first responders arrived.
San Bernardino County firefighters and paramedics responded and transported the rider to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.

The man was crossing the street in the area when he was struck by a car.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
