Whittier, California: A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon near an intersection in Whittier, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened around 3:24 p.m. near Workman Mill Rod and Mission Mill Road.
CHP said a motorcycle collided with a car under unclear circumstances.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene.
The rider was hospitalized with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
