Tucson, Arizona: A motorcyclist was hospitalized, and a Pima County Sheriff’s Department employee was cited following a traffic collision that happened Thursday in Tucson.
The accident took place near Cortaro Farms and Thornydale roads.
Authorities said a PCSD employee was in his patrol vehicle when he collided with a motorcycle after failing to yield.
The motorcyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The PCSD employee was ticketed for failure to yield.
An investigation is ongoing.
