Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Marin and Florida Streets in Vallejo
Vallejo, California – A motorcyclist died last after a collision with a pickup truck at an intersection in Vallejo on Tuesday night.
The fatal collision was reported at around 11:20 p.m. at Marin and Florida streets, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
A truck and a motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions when the truck driver made a left turn directly in front of the oncoming motorcycle and both vehicles collided.
The rider suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
