Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on I-405 in North Hills
North Hills, California: A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision that happened early Friday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway in North Hills.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at about 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway at Nordhoff Street.
CHP said a motorcyclist collided with a black sedan under unclear circumstances.
First responders found the rider in the middle lanes of the freeway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
