Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on West Foothill Boulevard in Rialto

Rialto, California – A motorcyclist died in a collision that happened on Saturday afternoon in Rialto, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on West Foothill Boulevard, near the Renaissance Center shopping mall at around 12:15 p.m. on November 11.

The motorcyclist was traveling westbound in the left lane on Foothill Boulevard and was struck by a Nissan Maxima that attempted to make a U-turn from eastbound Foothill Boulevard in front of the rider.

The unidentified motorcyclist died at the accident scene.

The driver of the Nissan, 36-year-old Haloman Tellez-Zelaya of Fontana, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
