Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with SUV on Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay

Placer County, California – A motorcyclist is dead after a high-speed crash that happened on Monday afternoon in the Granite Bay area of Placer County.

At around 2:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Douglas Boulevard, just east of Berg Street.

A red and white Honda motorcycle was traveling on the highway and crashed into a Toyota RAV4 that was making a U-turn on the highway.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, who was later identified as a 22-year-old man from Roseville, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The female driver of the RAV4 was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.
