Alondra Cobian, 24, Dies in Motorcycle Crash on 55 Freeway in Costa Mesa
Motorcyclist Killed in Costa Mesa Accident Identified
Costa Mesa, California: Authorities identified the woman who died in a Costa Mesa motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon as 24-year-old Alondra Cobian of Anaheim.
Cobian collided with two cars around 2:19 p.m. on the northbound 55 Freeway under the I-405 northbound HOV flyover.
The Orange County Fire Authority and the Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue responded to the scene after receiving reports of the crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Cobian was riding her motorcycle between two lanes when she collided with a Toyota Camry and a white Ford Ranger.
The responders pronounced Cobian dead at the scene.
Officers said speed may have contributed to the accident.
