Lucerne Valley, California (September 17, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision that killed a rider on Saturday afternoon in Lucerne Valley.
The collision occurred on Old Woman Springs Road and Santa Fe Fire Road at about 3:45 p.m. on September 16.
Authorities said a white pickup truck hauling a trailer turned left onto Santa Fe Fire Road and slammed into a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.
