Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Oxnard Street in Valley Glen
Oxnard, California: A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Saturday afternoon in Valley Glen, authorities said.
The accident took place around 4 p.m. on Oxnard Street near Varner Avenue.
A 23-year-old man riding on a motorcycle collided with a white four-door sedan.
The rider was thrown onto the sidewalk, and his severely damaged bike landed at a nearby house.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures at the scene before rushing the victim to the hospital where he later died.
Authorities said they believe the rider triggered the accident.
