Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on State Route 57 in Brea
Brea, California: One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Friday night on State Route 57 in Brea, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported to authorities around 10:54 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway just about half a mile south of Imperial Highway.
A white BMW X3 collided with a green Kawasaki motorcycle under unclear circumstances.
Multiple vehicles stopped at the scene following the accident.
Emergency personnel found the rider lying in slow lane. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:08 p.m.
The report also said at least one vehicle ran over an object that was in the middle lanes at the scene of the collision.
CHP is investigating the accident.
