Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Riverside County DA Investigator’s Car

Riverside, California: A 29-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with an on-duty Riverside County District Attorney investigator’s car in Riverside.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the accident occurred around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington and Rutland avenues.

RPD officers and the Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Arlington approaching Rutland, and the district attorney investigator was driving a car making a left turn into a driveway on Arlington when the vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist died from injuries suffered in the crash.

Investigators said speed was a contributing factor on the part of the rider.

The district attorney investigator was not hurt.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
