Motorcyclist Killed in Fiery Crash on Avenue 48 in Indio
Indio, California: A motorcyclist died in a fiery collision that happened Wednesday morning in Indio, authorities said.
According to the Indio Police Department, the accident was reported around 8:24 a.m. in the 81200 block of Avenue 48.
Police said the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances.
The rider died from injuries suffered in the wreck.
No other injuries were reported.
Traffic going through the intersections of Avenue 48 and Madison Street, Avenue 48 and Calle Diamante, and the intersection of Avenue 48 and Hjorth Street was disrupted by road closures following the accident.
