Motorcyclist Killed in Highway 101 Crash in Palo Alto Identified

Palo Alto, California – 38-year-old Melvin Alfredo Torres Guzman has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office as the motorcyclist who died in a collision in Palo Alto on October 21.

The fatal crash happened on Highway 101 just north of San Antonio Road at around 2:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Redwood City man was riding a motorcycle on the highway when he crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet S-10.

The man was ejected from the bike that also crashed into a Jeep after the initial collision.

Guzman died at the accident scene.

The other two drivers were unhurt.

More details about the collision were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
