Motorcyclist Killed in Highway 101 Crash in Redwood City
Redwood City, California: A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car late Saturday night in Redwood City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 11:59 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, south of State Route 92.
CHP said a motorcyclist collided with a Toyota sedan under unclear circumstances.
The rider was killed in the accident.
The driver of the sedan stopped and cooperated with investigators.
Northbound Highway 101 was shut down during an investigation. Traffic was being diverted onto State Route 92. All northbound lanes were still closed as of 1 a.m. Sunday.
