Rider Dies in Traffic Collision on Highway 65 in Placer County

Motorcyclist Killed in Highway 65 Crash in Placer County
Placer County, California: A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Tuesday night near Rocklin, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened on southbound Highway 65 near Sunset Boulevard.
CHP said a motorcyclist was speeding when they lost control and collided with a car.
The rider was thrown off the bike onto the roadway.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigators closed the highway for more than an hour at Twelve Bridges Drive during the investigation.
