Motorcyclist Killed in Jurupa Valley Hit-and-Run Crash Identified

Jurupa Valley, California: The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the motorcyclist who died in a hit-and-run accident that happened last week in Jurupa Valley as 24-year-old Alfonso Rodriguez, of Riverside.

The collision took place Thursday, May 30 at 5981 Limonite Avenue near Pacific Avenue.

Authorities said Rodriguez was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car whose driver did not stop after the crash.

Responding deputies and paramedics found the motorcyclist gravely injured and transported him to Riverside Community, where he died about half an hour later.

The driver of the car was later tracked down at a residence in Jurupa Valley. The driver was identified and the vehicle was impounded. Details about the name of the driver and whether they were arrested or not were not provided.
