Motorcyclist Killed in Phoenix Crash Identified

Phoenix, California: 38-year-old Charles Hansen was the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car early Friday morning in Phoenix, according to police.

The collision occurred at about 1:20 a.m. near 28th and Northern avenues.

Hansen was traveling east on Northern when an SUV drove into his path, causing a crash.

First responders pronounced Hansen dead at the scene.

The SUV driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with authorities.

Intoxication was not believed to be a contributing factor.
