Motorcyclist Killed in Salem Crash Identified
Salem, Oregon: The 48-year-old man who died in a motorcycle accident in Salem has been identified as Brian Merrill.
The fatal collision occurred at about 1 p.m. on Cordon Road.
Salem police said Merrill was riding a motorcycle north when he hit a car turning into a driveway.
The motorcycle then struck another vehicle that was already in the driveway.
Merrill was thrown from the bike and sustained critical injuries. Medical personnel transported him to Salem Health, where he died from his injuries.
The other drivers involved cooperated with investigators.
