Motorcyclist Killed in Santa Paula Crash Identified
Santa Paula, California: Authorities identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident Thursday evening at an intersection in Santa Paula.
29-year-old Richard Cisneros, of Santa Paula, died in the collision that took place around 6:20 p.m. at Peck Road and Santa Paula Street.
According to investigators, Cisneros was riding a motorcycle westbound on Santa Paula when he collided with a pickup truck traveling southbound on Peck.
Emergency personnel took Cisneros to Ventura County Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
The 26-year-old Santa Paula man driving the truck was not hurt.
Police said the motorcyclist’s speed may have contributed to the accident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
